Saw the band supporting The Darkness earlier this year in Manchester.
They are fantastic live and I was surprised to find they capture some of their stage energy on this studio album.
Like many bands they have some strong songs and some that are less strong, but I'd recommend the album to anyone looking for a new sound to listen to or to anyons that has seen and enjoyed them live.
Musically, I'd say they fall into the rock category, but the vocals are in the range of Justin from the Darkness, Freddy Mercury or Mika - you know, a bit falsetto at times but also with a harder edge at others.
Give the album a try, but if you get the chance to see them live....do it!
