This is the first album I'd bought by Fourplay and I can say I wasn't dissapointed at all. Great tracks played by spot on musicians. A brilliant album to just relax to and sooth the cares of the day away. Highly recommended.

This is jazz at its smoothist. The musicianship is very impressive, and there is definitely a groove going on! It makes great background music. It's layered up, so it's fuller than a normal quartet, perhaps trading off some of the spontaneity, but there are still some great keyboard and guitar solos. If cool jazz is your thing, you might find this is up your street.

Wow, what a BRILLIANT ALBUM. I have long been a fan of Lee Ritenour and Nathan East, but had somehow missed this collaboration. The album is one that engrosses and different instruments are constantly coming to the four (pun intended). The keyboards of Bob James and the excellent drumming of Harvey Mason meld superbly with the guitar and bass of the other two. The first track Bali Run puts me in mind of Uptown East by Chieli Minucci/Special EFX from the Slice of Life album. One reviewer has put "After the DAnce" as the highlight. Not for me, I find the instrumentals far better while not critisining the only vocal track. Excellent. CAn't wait to get into the other albums with Lee and also the later ones with Larry Carlton. Truly a super group.

Still great.
An oldie but still sounds great. 'After the Dance' is the star - perfect jazzy pop.
