4.0 out of 5 stars Good reading 12 Feb. 2014

I can't mark the book down on content. The stories make for some light reading which is entertaining. The whole thing doesn't take too long to read and I managed it in an afternoon in between feeding the baby!..

It doesn't detract from the content, but the contents are not new material, so anyone who has bought this authors work previously should double check that they haven't already read these stories.

Would recommend.

3.0 out of 5 stars Light entertainment 6 Feb. 2014
By C. Colley TOP 500 REVIEWER

Going on what other reviewers are saying about this book, readers may be disappointed, mainly because these stories have been published before in other short story compilations.
I read Jeffrey Archer's prison diaries a long time ago and was interested to see what his short stories were like.
I thought these stories were okay. What you get is four short stories that end with a good twist and it takes about 45 minutes to read the whole book.

I've read most of these before under different book names. Yes the stories are good, but I do not need to read them again and hope that my 13 year old grandson will enjoy them.
