I tried this product on a couple of microfibre throws, which I have found to be the most difficult to remove pet hair from. It does work to an extent but seems more to roll the hair around the microfibre material rather than remove it. At least it is fairly easy to remove once it has gathered into small bundles of hair. However, I get similar results from using a pair of kitchen rubber gloves. So, all in all, not really worth spending money on. I got similar results on a suit. What I was expecting was that the hair would stay on the 'sponge' from where it should have been easy to remove.

I bought this as a replacement for a previous sponge which had worn out. With a long haired cat, this is great for getting fluff off clothes and chairs.

This is a very simple product, but it does an excellent job of removing pet hair, even the ground in pet hair that my fancy-schmancy pet-hair- remover-vacuum can't touch. What it is, is a very dense sponge, not like the type that you use to clean the kitchen sink, it's much more dense. It picks up pet hair when swiped over fabric, carpet, or other surfaces. (You use it dry, not wet.) It works as well or better than those rollers with the tape on them that you have to keep refilling. You know that favorite spot where your dog or cat always sleeps that's always covered with pet hair? This will easily remove it.
The only downside is that after you pick up the hair on this sponge, you have to remove it from the sponge by hand, but because it kind of gathers in clumps, that's easy to do. It does get dirty over time but it's easy to wash with a mild detergent and water. The real beauty of it is that there's nothing to refill and you don't have to replace it very often. I've had one for over five years that is still working well, and I expect it to go on working for another few years. Not a bad purchase. Was expecting more. The pet hair has to be removed after each swipe across the furniture or it won't pick up more hair and what's already on it will go back on the furniture. Kind of a pain! But it does work if you remove hair after each swipe.

This is a fantastic product that removes dog/cat hair from car seats, furniture, clothes...It removes more from my furniture than my Dyson Animal vacuum! I am buying more for Christmas presents! You won't be disappointed!
