I love the film, bought the soundtrack because the two go together so well. In the film. Now I'm bored of the soundtrack. The tracks don't stand up by themselves with a couple of exceptions. They need to make a sequel or better a prequel.

Brothers' Gonna Work It Out?

This very entertaining film closes with a song by the great Willie Hutch, Brothers' Gonna Work It Out (from the 1973 film, The Mack). It's the perfect closing tune for the film and it should be on the CD. What a shame!

This soundtrack came to me as a big surprise. When I saw the movie I thought the soundtrack was going to have different types of rap/hip hop music. The soundtrack went really well with the movie. Then again, how can you go wrong with Marvin Gaye? I'll admit the Jackson 5 song kind of throws of the whole motown feel but as you get into the rest of the CD, its almost hard not to sing along and nod your head to some of the greastest music out there! If you're into motown kind of music then this is definitely a CD not to pass up
