If you've got SQL Server 2008 R2 and you are interested in taking advantage of the Business Intelligence tools that come with SQL Server and you're not sure where to start, this is a good book to help you get started.
What I liked about the book was there was enough content to help you get started with the various elements of BI using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) with examples for you to play with and explore further. The book goes through the basics of SSAS, setting up OLAP cubes with some best practices to use, and SSIS and then explores them in greater detail in further chapters.
Once you've got the basic elements set up there is a good overview of using Excel and SSRS to create reports and delve into the data that you have set up.
