How anyone can give this anything less than five stars is beyond me.
The purpose of the book is to prepare you for the Foundation Licence examination and it does just that.
Complaints about the bandplan being out of date are ludicrous. The bandplan is in a constant state of flux. The book teaches you how to read a bandplan and that's all you need to know. You're given one along with your examination paper.
Don't buy this book if you want an up to date bandplan. Don't buy this book if you want to learn how to make cheese. Buy this book if you want to be well prepared for the Foundation Licence exam.

If you are reading this and are unsure as to whether you need this book then stop worrying. I bought this book for my son who wanted to take his foundation licence. I have been a full licence holder for 20+years. This book contains everything you need to pass the exam. It is written in an easy going style that even my 13 year old got. You can even use this book as a reference book after you have your fondation licence, in fact I even use it myself. Yes, my son passed his test first time through using the book.
In short if you are taking the foundation course get this book, its an essential.
