About the Author
Charles Fuge won both the Macmillan Prize and the Mother Goose Award for his first book, Bush Vark's Day Out. He has had numerous books published since, including Yip! Snap! Yap! and the hugely popular Sometimes I Like to Curl Up in a Ball for Gullane ('Highly Commended' for the Kate Greenaway Medal 2001). He lives in Burton Bradstock, Dorset.

Myself and my daughter Melissa, have really enjoyed reading this book over and over again, it is one of her favourite bedtime stories for quite some time, beautiful illustrations, the little wombat has become one of our firm favourites.

Great book - I love these Little Wombat stories because it's great to see the children's reactions when I read to them. I read a couple Little Wombat stories to my children when they were younger and they were a firm favourite and now I work with 3-4 year olds, these stories are frequently requested.

A fantastic book with stunning illustrations .... Charles Fuge is a brilliant artist (we own several of his books). Another 'Wombat' book has become a firm favourite with our 2yr old and us.

Great book for kids
This book was not the size I expected it to be, but none the less the children love it, as we already have the other four books in the series.
