Tomorrow is for regrets. Tonight is for being together.
On a cold winter night, Rachel and Jason's lives collide on Manhattan Bridge. She's running from life, he's running toward it. But compassion urges him to help her.
His offer of a place to stay leads to friendship and trouble. There's his fiancée back home in Oregon and a family who just don't trust this girl from the wrong side of the tracks.
But when the connection between them is so electric, so right... everyone else must be wrong. And as the snow begins to settle on the Hudson, there's nothing but the possibility of what could be - of this, right here, right now. Them.

About the Author

Jane is qualified to the equivalent of a Masters Degree in People Management and is fascinated by the things which craft people’s personalities, so she has great fun exploring these through characters. She lives in the United Kingdom near the Regency City of Bath and has just bought her 400 year old dream home. History has always tempted her imagination and she loves researching and also exploring ruins and houses to get ideas. She equally loves a love story.
Jane has always aspired to writing a historical novel so when she was thirty she put it on her ‘to do before I am forty’ list. She completed her first novel ten years ago, never sent it anywhere then started the next. She’s not stopped writing since, and escaping into a mental world of fiction is a great painkiller to help fight off her Ankylosing Spondylitis.

More About the Author

Jane is a writer of authentic, passionate and emotional Historical and New Adult romance and author of a No.1 bestselling Historical Novel,'The Illicit Love of a Courtesan', as well as a Kindle overall top 25, bestselling author in the United States of America.

She began her first historical novel at sixteen, but a life full of adversity derailed her as she lives with the restrictions of Ankylosing Spondylitis.

When she finally completed a novel it was because she was determined not to reach forty still saying, I want to write.

Now Jane is writing a Regency series as well as contemporary, new adult, stories and she is thrilled to be giving her characters life in others' imaginations at last.

You might think that Jane was inspired to write by Jane Austen, especially as she lives near Bath in the United Kingdom, but you would be wrong. Jane's favourite author is Anya Seton, and the book which drew her into the bliss of falling into historical imagination was 'Katherine' a story crafted from reality.

Jane has drawn on this inspiration to discover other real-life love stories, reading memoirs and letters to capture elements of the past, and she uses these to create more realistic plots.

'Basically I love history and I am sucker for a love story. I love the feeling of falling in love; it's wonderful being able to do it time and time again in fiction.'

Jane is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development in the United Kingdom, and uses this specialist understanding of people to bring her characters to life.

4.5 star read for sure!

I have to be truthful I honestly struggled to get into I Found You at the start and now you'll be wondering why I awarded 4.5 stars for it then.....

Well I (I am hiding behind my hands now) didn't like Rachel very much at the start! There I said it! But oh how I am so glad I stuck with it because my initial perception of her was so off kilt that I absolutely loved her once I realised a few things......

This is not your ordinary book about a man finding a woman who is at the end of her fight and wanting to jump of a bridge to finally end the turbulence. You HAVE to read this fully to appreciate the complexity of why Rachel was on that bridge and why she had been doing the things she had to lead her to the point of being on that bridge.

Jane absolutely dealt with Rachel's issues perfectly, I could see that by quarter of the way through and it's when I saw Rachel as a completely different person. I was so close to tears many times at how things panned out for her. Jason was an absolute FAB hero. Gah don't we all want our very own Jason! He was just perfect. Not a single fault I could find with him.

Then there's Lindy, the small town girlfriend who honestly, got to be truthful here again, needed a slap and not just on one occasion! Oh that girl was a stroppy, up herself so and so. Yeah I get that she IS the girlfriend but he should have dumped her years ago!

Then them Mr and Mrs Macliney, they play a big part too and it was so interesting to be on both sides of the fence. Routing for Jason's mum who obviously only wants the best for her son and she's only ever really known Lindy and Jason, so Rachel and Jason is a complete shock to her and one that is hard to swallow.

3.0 out of 5 stars An okay read. 27 Mar. 2015
Format:Kindle Edition
When I first heard about this book, I was instantly intrigued. The synopsis sounds so interesting. Then I read the excerpt and I was even more curious about the book. I was certain that it would be one that I would really enjoy and could happily add to my favourites shelf. Unfortunately, this is not what happened. While I still enjoyed this book, it wasn’t exactly the book I was hoping it to be and couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed with it. However, I’m still glad I read the book and would still recommend it to others. I definitely think that anyone that likes books with a strong, kind, male lead will love this books. It just didn’t give me the spark that I’d wanted when reading it. But, fortunately, it was still good enough for me to get to the end of the book.

Being a romance book, there was a faily generic plot to this book where two characters who shouldn’t have worked together, really fitted together well. I did like that part of this book and I loved seeing the way that Jason looked at and felt about Rachel. I enjoyed the journey that the two of them took together, and I certainly felt many emotions pouring out of me as I read. (I really wanted to punch a few other characters!). There were, however, a few unrealistic moments in the book that really ground my teeth and just moments that I really struggled to read and enjoy. At times it felt like some of the dialogue was a little forced and it really ruined some of the enjoyment of this book for me.

I think the main protagonists in this book were really well written and had a lot of depth and personality. I only wish that, that same depth could have shone through the secondary characters as well but I often found that where other characters’ came in, it just fell flat.

Thank you to Fiction Addiction Book Tours for letting me take part in the blog tour.

I really like Jason. He’s genuinely a really nice guy. He’s been brought up well. His parents taught him wrong from right. they tought him to be kind and to help those in need. I am really glad he decided to go to New York even though his family didn’t want him to and it’s not exactly how he pictured it.

I didn’t really like Lindy. She wanted to make Jason into the image she had in her head. Everything in their relationship was about her. they were two people Jason was just an extension of her but not in a good way. She manipulated him and everyone else.

Rachel, oh Rachel. Where do I start. I felt so so sorry for her. She had such a crappy childhood. Her mum was pretty rubbish and since she left home she never really found a good place. She was always in with the wrong crowd.

I really loved that the book switched point of views. It was great to get into each of their heads and see what they were really thinking and feeling.

I don’t want to ruin the story but there were some lovely romantic scenes, some hilarious and outrageous scenes, some really heartfelt moments and some really sad times too. This book will have you going through every emotion and I’m so glad I was along for the ride. I had little happy tears in my eyes at the end. It was perfect.

I thought Rachel lead a very sorry and horrible life and i'm glad that Jason saved her all ways and that she got the love she deserved. I'm also glad Jason got the love and Support he needed. It was a sad and moving story.
