This album really took me by surprise; I was expecting a good album, but got an amazing album. There isn't much on here that is particularly innovative, but the songwriting and quality of the songs throughout the album are of an amazing calibre.Think Goo Goo Dolls going heavier, or Jimmy Eat World jamming with Fuel (another FANTASTIC band - new album coming September 23rd). Get this album if you like good, melodic rock with a bit of an edge, that isn't all weepy and limp, and grabs you by the ears and won't let go. Highly recommended.

First saw this band in July 2003 at the Calgary Stampede. Bought the album in HMV in Calgary.Excellent band. In the same genre as Nickelback in my opinion. Look out for this band, they will be a hit.

Forty Foot Echo, perhaps best known for their presence in the soundtrack to Freaky Friday (2003), are fast becoming a staple on my playlists.This band shows such variety even on such a brief recording, that they cannot help but appeal to a large spectrum of listeners. In many cases the lyrics are quite profound and carried my an impressive voice. This is then reinforced by imaginative guitar and drumming to create a fantastic sound.
