4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant. So easy to lose weight., 13 Mar 2001
By A Customer
I have lost over a stone in weight, and almost two dress sizes, in about two months using the diet in this book. The recipes are easy to follow (although being American, cup measurements are used), and I hardly ever felt hungary. It's a completely new way of dieting - not low fat but balanced. Most of the food is available in this Country with only a few substitutes being necessary. It's similar to the Zone diet but I found it easier to follow. It would be nice to have an English version though as sometimes you have to convert the language!

Brilliant book based upon a nice mixture of scientific and nutritional expertise. Recipes are great, and some nice surprises in there too. Good stuff!

3.0 out of 5 stars The formular, 27 Dec 2002

This book does contain some interesting facts and advice. However, i found it quite hard to apply to United Kingdom food stuffs. This made it hard to make meal plans as the foods mentioned were very "American". Still it is worth reading and maybe an answer to some peoples diet problems.
