2001 was pretty much dominated by Schumi. Coulthard put up a fight at the begining of the season, but reliabilty and racing incidents soon ment Ferrari and Schumi were able to walk away with the title, all be it with alot of help from Rubens!
This VHS is long, indepth, has a great comentator and gives excellent coverage of every race, with enough behind the scenes footage. This is how the 2000 review should have been done, as that was a much closer battle between Schumi and Hakkinen for the title!
Although 2001 was dominated by Schumi, we saw the arrival of newcomers such as Juan Pablo Montoya and Kimi Raikkonen, both of which proved themselves to be top drivers in F1.
The speed of the cars and the lap times they were doing, were faster than ever before and the sound of the now extinct V10's was as beautful as ever.
This is also the last year that the old Hockenheim circuit was used, with the long straights, which was a test for the reliability of the super powerful V10's many of which did not finish the race. It was much better in the old configuration than the 'Hilke' designed shorter circuit and it was quite a final race.
All in all an excelent F1 review and a must for any F1 fan!
