What a brilliant track, have just downloaded it now. Very catchy tune, come on guys download the tune, its great and its for a great cause and is a credit to the boys of Killing for Company and Our Stuart.

I have been a fan of Stereophonics for well over 10 years now. I didn't fully understand the reason for Stuart's sacking and got to love their new drummer and carried on following them.
I was also interested in what had happened to Stuart though and what he was doing and managed to get to see him with his new band in April of this year. After the gig the band were handing out flyers (Stuart included) they were a really friendly band and it was great to meet them all.
The band were amazing live and it was incredible watching Stuart doing his stadium drumming in a small room (from just in front of the stage too!!). The signed album arrived just in time for me to drive to the Phonics gig at Cardiff Football Stadium - I loved it, Greg's vocals, all of the guitars, the drumming everything ......... all the right ingredients of a band on the brink of making it. Two days later Stuart was dead, I couldn't believe..... the freshly signed album was in my hand and I had only just met him a couple of months earlier.
I hope you get the chance to buy and enjoy this album but please download this single as a taster and help raise money for very worthwhile causes.

Former Mining Town is a brilliant debut single for the welsh band Killing for Company. Sadly, its release is as a tribute to the late Stuart Cable who was the bands drummer, proceeds from the sale of this download are goint to Stuarts chosen charities which are Ty Hafan and The Teenage Cancer Trust.
Greg Jones vocals are fantastic, his voice is one of the best I have heard in a long time. Along with the drumming and guitar this makes for one rocking song.
The song is taken off the bands first album "The Lost Art of Deception" which has yet to be released however, I was honoured to have a limited edition copy signed by the band before Stuarts death.

Brilliant Band!!!
This is a brilliant band and I just love their music. Shame the circumstances of the release of this track were so tragic.

An absolute must buy, superb track from a superb band and the added bonus of supporting 2 good charities. A fitting tribute to Stuart.
