I was attracted to this book by the "just spoil yourself" subtitle, hoping that it would be more of the kind of excellent vegetarian recipes to be found in Rose Elliot's Superb "Gourmet Vegetarian Cookery".
The first disappointment is the size and format of the book. It is a tiny paperback (less than A5) and almost impossible to leave open at the required page while cooking. Also, the small pages mean that the recipes are spread over more than one page, making this even less convenient in usage. No photographs means less easy to visualise what the result will look like and whether you want to cook it.
It then transpired that the recipes are intended, not for dinner parties, but for quick and easy type cooking, which is not clear from the title. The recipes are mainly salads, pasta and one or two bakes with exotic vegetables, plus some puddings. I found this limited selection rather disappointing.
Final gripe, the book claims "50 brand new...vegetarian recipes..." - I do not think it is reasonable to claim gratin dauphinois (Delia Smith's recipe is better), garlic bread, rosti, mushroom risotto and Greek Salad as "new" recipes.
All this said, the book does contain one or two interesting new vegetarian recipes, and they are quite quick to make.
Personally, if you are looking for new ideas for vegetarian cooking, I would try another book, one with a wider range of recipes and with pictures in.
