Wow, this has got to be one of my most listened to albums that i own.The whole album is superb, HWM have an exellent way of texturing their instruments together which often leaves me thinking "how the hell did they come up with such original and heart pounding music?" . Just listen to the songs closely and you start to really get into them, i always find myself screaming along to the songs.
The great thing about HWM is that they play for themselves and make the most honest and heartfelt music you'll ever hear. There's really too much to say, the musical skill involved, the way the songs make you feel....a band keeping it real for sure.
Some of my favourite tracks have to be 'Just don't say you lost it' which perfectly illustrates musical skill with raw emotion. The guitars and bass in that song work so well, a very very good riff and a very very good song. '3 Summers strong' is just amazing, man you feel that emotion so strongly....RAW!!!
Perhaps this album might take a few listens to get into if you've not heard much HWM but when it clicks you'll understand.
