Jewel Match belongs to the Match 3 game genre, which requires you to use clever tactics to quickly create rows of 3 identical jewels, making them explode on both screens. The game continues until all the boxes have disappeared and the level has been completed. Jewel Match also offers fantastic extras that have been specially designed for playing on the Nintendo DS und Nintendo DSi. For example, in some levels you need to use the game console’s integrated microphone to whip up a magic storm by huffing and puffing through the mike, to help you get out of some tricky situations. You will find it easy to learn to play the game, but it will become completely absorbing, and you will typically be thinking “Just one more level …..”.
There are 150 ingenious levels in total, requiring your utmost attention, skill and reaction. You are supported during the game by freely playable dynamic extras. For a 5 combination you receive a powerful helix that sweeps across a whole row in the gameplay area.

I have played them all and this is the best ..it plays true to the PC version but with the added bonus of being super responsive to the stylus and completely accurate...no wrong moves where the jewel next to the one you touched moves instead....therefore no frustration...the full just one more level that turns into ten levels played and an hour lost before you know it experience!!!
Highly recommend and excellent value..as a plus it is pleasant to have thevolume up as the sound effects/music adds to the game rather than detracts!

Fun:
I have tried many puzzle games since having my ds and none really captured me like Puzzle Quest; Challenge of the Warlords.But I have found it.This is exactly as the previous reviewer says like the pc version.It's straight forward and uncomplicated but extremely addictive.If you like complex games then this isn't for you but if you like a game that you can get lost in or even just dip in and out of then this is the one.

Great game - lots of different match 3 screens to go through - great for passing time on a plane, easy to pick up and put down. All match 3 - but there are some interesting little bits and pieces added - overall a great little game - many levels - and I still haven't managed to complete all of them. Simple, fun, addictive and always in great demand from my family.

Fun fun fun and addictive
I love match 3 puzzles and this one keeps me amused for hours. I usually use my DS lite when on holiday mostly and I am glad I had this game with me. Love it..
