The roof bars themselves are practical, the fitting points on the car are a bit close together so if your load is long, boats surf boards etc Then roof rails will be better.
Also plugs need to be inserted in the threaded holes in the roof of the C Max once the bars are removed.
It would be handy if these were provided by the manufacturer.
