I purchased this CD for my partner as a Christmas gift after hearing 'Night & Day' in a film we were watching.
Romantic,soothing and mellow!
If you are a true Soul ballard type person you will love this!
Romance is certainly in the air when the Temptations sing!
Put this on, close your eyes and be transported back to a time when champayne & roses were the order of the day (rather than
garage flowers and supermarket chocolates!!).
The title says it all.............For Lovers Only.
Perhaps that should also be..........and For Lovers To be.
Enjoy.

I discovered this album after being riveted by the rendering of 'Night and Day' on the sountrack to the film, 'What Women Want'. I had to find out about it! Little did I anticipate the treat in store on discovering it came from 'For Lovers Only', which at the time I had to purchase from abroad.

This recording is one magnificent interpretation of romantic classics after another. More than that, it's like discovering new songs for the first time(Barbra Streisand is the only other artist I can think of who is able to do this).

'For Lovers Only' will remain a treasured possession.

This album is a must have for all temptation fans. The singers are great and so are the songs.With the velvet voice of Ollie Woodson at its best temptations are here to stay.
