Rykarda Parasol is a musical genius! In a perfect world critics and fans alike would be throwing themselves at the feet of this amazing self-producing singer/songwriter. She is THAT good. There are numerous highlights on this, her second full length cd, including: "covenant", "one for joy!", and "hold back the night". And I am convinced that "a drinking song" will be playing over and over again at the apocalypse. Rykarda is often described as the female Nick Cave, and that's not such a bad comparison and makes for a very quick overview, but she is much more than that. Listen to the clips of the songs, then buy the cd and listen to it over and over again.
