David and Debra visit a range of interesting and scenic places including Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Murren, Kleine Scheidegg and Grindelwald. Having visited some of these places ourselves a few years ago it is a pleasure to be reminded of the range of occupations and the wonderful scenery. Also the journey from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg, the cog railway and wonderful mountain scenery on the way up to the Jungraujoch. The film includes the Bernese Oberland, Lucerne and many other unforgettable places and also allowed us to make good our having missed the paddle-steamer trip. We have bought the entire 'Footloose' series, been delighted with every one and also enjoyed Barnaby Smith's music. - Mike Hardy.

Foiled in my efforts to reach the Lauterbrunnen Valley this year, I consoled myself with this DVD instead. Its fantastic - great photography, engaging and intelligent commentary, it cheered me up no end. A lovely momento of the greatest valley in the Alps.

It is some time since I visited this part of Switzerland, and once again the DVD brought back some memories of that particular holiday. Switzerland is such a clean country, and the scenery in various parts are awe inspiring. As well as visiting this area, I have also gone to Davos and St Moritz and both of these places would be suitable for another DVD in the series. I look forward to purchasing further Dvds in future from the series. Once again I have to admit that this disc only works on one of my machines. Other suggestions for future releases would be Copenhagen, Oslo ans Stockholm.

This is well worth buying. If you are wondering whether to do this trip yourself it gives a very good illustration of what to expect. If you are not planning to go there you can enjoy the sights from your armchair. Wonderful photography and very well presented. I was concerned the presenter may be off putting but she is pleasant and easy to watch and never irritating. Well worth buying. Why not give one to an elderly friend or relative, what a super present it would be.

Excellent DVD. The photography , commentary and choice of places visited is very good. It brought back memories of a similar trip we took some years ago. The Footloose series is of a very high standard.

We went to Switzerland 30+ years ago and it is great to see that it is still the same. Debra and David portray the travel log in a lovely way, I want to go tomorrow !!

This DVD is absolutely fantastic. A friend was talking to me about their holiday in Switzerland and they lent this to me- I have never been to Switzerland before, but now I have certainly been put in the mood to go. Aside from watching this DVD for educational purposes, it is incredibly peaceful viewing- after a stressful day working, I would happily stick this on to unwind- it is exceptionally soothing to watch.

Well filmed travelogue with friendly commentary - if I were to criticise - the camera work or editing is a little too fleeting. Slower panning and longer dwell would add to the enjoyment. On the whole a nice armchair trip without the need to negotiate airport chaos or the need to fork out for a document from Her Britannic Majesty.
