Book Description

14 May 2009 0443104026 978-0443104022 2
The new edition retains all the benefits of the popular first edition but adds more cases, more illustrations, new sections and invaluable appendices. The same illustrated case-history format as in the first edition presents readers with the clinical problems of each disorder. In each case, a problem-solving approach is encouraged through a question-and-answer format. This guides the reader to the appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan. Clinical tips for improving practice are included and each study concludes with a short list of key points and references to further reading. All those involved in the care and management of patients with foot conditions will find this book an invaluable aide-memoire and guide to their daily practice.

,,"."this book fills a much needed gap in the market. All the case histories are well structured, well illustrated and also come with invaluable 'further readin' references. The layout of the book makes it an ideal quick reference text which is relatively inexpensive."" "Dr N. Padhiar," Physical Therapy in Sport

4.0 out of 5 stars great gem of information 10 Jan 2010
By kathy VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback
i wish i had the book from 1st year studies. it has a wide subject appeal, and goes into eneough depth on conditions to get a good footing on them, of course further reading always advisable.
book has pictures and questions and answers on each condition which tests your knowledge on the conditions, definately one of my better buys. good for revision.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing 1 Nov 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I bought this book after looking at my friends at university. However after receiving it today I am really disappointed as it is now printed in black and white and not colour as was the one I read before purchasing. This makes the pictures of skin conditions, ulcers etc pointless. I will be returning this book.
