More About the Author

Charlotte Watts is a nutritional therapist and yoga teacher based in Brighton and London, UK. She is highly experienced and won the 2012 CAM Award for Outstanding Practice. She writes regularly for the national press, is a feature blogger for Healthista, nutritional advisor for Ocado. She has lectured in top UK nutrition colleges and now lectures for The Minded Institute. She teaches on the Yogacampus Yoga Therapy module, Teaching Yoga for Stress, Burnout and Chronic Fatigue. Charlotte has appeared as the nutritionist/ presenter on BBC3's Freaky Eaters and GMTV's Beach Body Boot Camp.

Her latest book The De-Stress Effect (Hay House, March 2015) is the culmination of her experience, teaching and research, weaving a thread of practical mindfulness to nutrition to help reduce cravings and stress-related symptoms like mood issues, insomnia, IBS and many more. The De-Stress Effect is a truly holistic system, offering a wealth of tools - either as a system to work through or a valuable resource to dip in to again and again. Charlotte is passionate about helping people find good health and happiness by acknowledging the particular demands of the 21st century and navigating a rewarding path through them. I have had the pleasure of receiving this book recently. The layout is very nice with the left page being a description of the particular food with the opposite page having a lovely recipe and other info with a photo. The description includes the make-up of the food including calories, fat, carbs, proteins, minerals etc and why this choice is great for your body. The book is a nice medium "coffee table" size with pages made of lovely paper with rounded corners which is something you don't see often.

I feel overall this book really hits the spot concerning nutrient rich foods to help you stay feeling and looking healthy and young!

A MUST buy book!!!

not sure why this is so much barnes and noble had it for $4.98 on line sold out i guess
thats why so i thought amazon would offer it for a similar cost.
