The book is exactly what it says on the box. It was a very simple and easy to understand the term of raw food and how to go about introducing it into your life. I also liked the fact that it gave you options on how to use raw food as part of your diet. The examples of food to eat were indeed very simple to prepare and very easy to get hold of but the only downfall would be that they were quite repetitive and after just a week you will get a bit bored of the same ingredients and it made me loose my motivation and initial excitement. The price was also a bit high for such a small paperback book I thought.

If you are new to raw food or have 'dabbled' this is the book for you. Karen takes you through an easy process and shows how great you can feel by upping your raw food intake, without having to become completely raw overnight. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was already eating quite a bit of raw food already so it is just a case of considering broadening what I'm eating and trying more exciting recipes. You will feel so much better for making small changes and Karen's writing style will keep you on track and make it fun! I highly recommend it.

I found this book to be really useful in de-bunking all the myths and fears associated with raw foods. It is a brilliant introductory book that I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about a raw food lifestyle. It is one to keep going back to again and again!

A simple beginner's guide to raw food which doesn't involve spouters, dehydrators and other assorted kitchen equipment that I've found in many other raw food guides. This one only requires a juicer and blender (handheld or table top).

As the author states - this is just a starter guide to a raw food lifestyle - and as such only offers 15 detailed raw food recipes along with a 5 day raw lifestyle plan for you to try out. (Although there are links to websites containing more raw food recipes).

Just what I was looking for!
