5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding release, 17 Nov 2008
By C. Jones - See all my reviews

I was at the Saturday night Wembley gig and this Bluray definitely brings back excellent memories.
The concert was amazing, and this is a very very good reproduction of it. Lots of camera angles, really well mixed sound. It's 1080p 24fps so on a good TV it'll look great, and the sound is Dolby 5.1, PCM 5.1 or boring stereo - if you have a nice amp the raw PCM will be the one for you!

If you like the Foos and missed them on their current tour, or saw them and want to re-live it, I would highly recommend you get this (it's also just about the only review I've written for a dvd/bluray on amazon, because I like it that much!)

This is the ultimate foos gig, captured on high def and sounding awesome. If you have your Blu-Ray player hooked up to a competent sound system, this will knock your ears off.Plugged into my Samsung,1080,100htz t.v this concert is visually stunning. The pretender,Breakout,Times like these, and My hero, stand out for me.And for those nostalgia buffs, half of the Led Zepps make a quest slot on their classics Rock and Roll and Ramble On.All in all a helluva good buy,i got it from amazon at a very good price and it was delivered in 48 hours..

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding, 30 Dec 2008
I saw the Foos on the Saturday night gig at Wembley, and we were in the seated section of the stadium.

I remember seeing the cameras swinging around on cleverly rigged up cables, zooming in on the stage, and swivelling round the whole stadium. These images have been used to create a fantastic Bluray version of the gig, showing close ups of all the bits I couldn't quite see from my seat, including the watering eyes of Dave Grohl as Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones got up on stage with him.

The sound quality is also fantastic, and I would recommend this bluray to anyone who went to the gig and wants to re-live it, or anyone who wasn't lucky enough to get tickets and wants to see what they missed out on.

I've seen a bit on the normal DVD version, and can say the Bluray is definitely worth the extra money.
