I got this charger and although the led light is on it does not have the power to charge the HTC Desire. Very dissapointed as it is advertise to be compatible with HTC Desire

Amazon Verified Purchase
Mine is just dead - there is a little red LED on it but that doesn't light up.
And the phone (HTC Legend) doesn't charge.
