About a year ago I read an article in a magazine - "Fondue is the new cool" it told me. Liking the idea of 'sharing' the cooking/eating experience in one mass event I locked the thought away with a view to buying myself a fondue in the near future. In the mean time I found this book before I had purchased a fondue set so decided to buy it and see what was on offer... WOW! There are so many excellent recipes out there for fondue cooking (not just with cheese!). With Christmas just around the corner I requested a fodue as a gift and sure enough, that's what I got. So by Boxing Day I'd alreaady made the 'Classic Swiss Fondue' and only a few days ago I tried my hand at 'Salmon Laksa' - A wonderful dish using coconut milk and thai infusion to cook your salmon chunks in the mixture -mmmm :) I recommend this title to anyone even slightly interested in seeing what they could achieve with this long forgotten style of cooking.
