If you had told me this morning that the woman they got in to play bass in Hole then turned up in The Pumpkins to do what King Billy demanded would wash up in 2004 with a record that sounds like the Velvet Underground of Hard Rock, the most overlooked, never been heard of, so much better than Queens of the Stone Age even tho' Josh was what? 18,19,20 at the time (and QOTSA are still terrifying btw), most completely heavy/sexy/groovy, sound of the universe breathing under snow, mind blowing band that is Kyuss then I would have increased the medication. But here we are at ten past ten this evening and that is precisely the case - bewildering indeed, but more than welcome...

never know what to say in these things... doesn't come accross as a pale imitation but the genuine article and from out of nowhere and for the first time in a very long time, we have a real rock record to look forward to. Class of 91-96 showing their colours (i love being 25 - we had it sooooo good at school compared to what they get to write on army surplus bags now :)lol, the good guys are too clever to get all Nirvana over - hi cLOUDDEAD, or yr parents like em too, anyway...)

Better mention the song itself - the biggest riff since the circus left town and MADMs breathy vocals and if you looked this up you must have heard it/be interested, so get this or the album, i suppose. wow.
