Great book. A very good book for those who have been working on their personal growth and those that want to explore their own idealized/unrealistic expectations of themselves. Life can be difficult but we can learn how to find ways of being more peaceful and trusting in the process of our life(s).

An excellent book!
Dr. Alibrando takes complex ideas from his many decades of helping people and brakes them down in easily understood and workable pieces using the classic characters from "The Wizard of Oz". Anyone who has seen the film and has a a desire to grow can benefit from the author's simple yet thorough explanations. The film is an enduring classic because there was a psychological backdrop that resonated with generations. Alibrando's explanations, using the films characters, will resonate with readers and likely change lives. It certainly changed mine.

Make a Difference In Your Life

When it was first suggested to me to read this book I did it with some resistance. But I was in a rough patch in my life and I was looking for some help understanding what was going on with me personally. Dr. Alibrando's book was frankly a nice surprise. It helped me understand dynamics of my own choices and relationships in a way that was not condescending and was indeed relevant to what I was going through. If you are interested in making changes in your life and deaing with the inevitable chaos that we all have to deal with, this is a great book to enable personal change. I learned that obstacles are inevitable but how we transverse those obstacles is not. I have a choice in the dynamics of my life and this book helped me recognize that. A great intelligent choice for personal growth.
