Folk Shawls covers shawls and stoles from many traditions, with both written and charted instructions. There are effective but simple designs suitable for
an inexperienced knitter, and some that are a bit more complicated. Nothing too hard though. By and large these pattens are not too 'grannyish'.
The book is well set out and written and very usable indeed.

A really super book with lots of really nice designs. Shawl patterns in lots of different yarns from all over the world. The pictures and diagrams are nice and clear.

Wow! What can I say - this is a brilliant book that I just love. I have already read it several times over trying to decide which one to start first. This will certainly get all the wheels and cogs going in this brain! A book to recommend.
