Generally, the best way to get something printed for folding into a display or package is to find out what your printer already does, and use that. Otherwise, you're into the costs of a cutting form and a folding form.

But sometimes you need something which isn't generally available, and you need it reasonably quickly. Rather than having to design it yourself and then prototype it to make sure it fits together, and then redesign it so that it actually does, go straight to this book, pick the pattern you want to use, and grab the vector files off the included disk. So simple!

That's it really. If you are a packaging professional who does this as your day job, you are probably way ahead of this book and don't need it. If you're a hobbyist who wants to have a go at making a bespoke package for something, then there are more interesting and exciting ways to do it. This book is really for commercial print professionals who are occasional packagers. Although this book has hundreds of designs, there probably won't be more than three or four suitable for any particular project -- but, then, you only need one that is.

A one trick pony -- but it's a superb trick, and if you need it, a godsend.

This is the fifth of the agile rabbit range that I have bought and although it is less relevant to me than the others in the range, it is nonetheless well worthwhile. The CD included with the book gives you the vector images of what is contained in the book and this will be useful if you want to modify the designs.

Most impressive is the simple ingenuity of a lot of the designs in this range of books. I would recommend the book.
