    This was pretty useless unfortunately!

    It was for use during the summer months when my radiators are off and i need to dry clothes quickly overnight.

    It still took a good couple of days to dry item (based on the environmental humidity/temperature of a typical coolish British Summer day inside the house that is neither hot nor cold. If the house was hotter then the item would dry quicker anyway!). You can only fit 1 -2 items lying flat on it. The bars do get nice and hot (albeit too hot to touch) and only dry the material that is in direct contact with the metal bars. If you drap clothes over each bar like with an ordinary airer, you can dry more clothes but it makes no difference in drying time to a normal airer.

    My airer is now lying redundant in a pile of other products that have failed to deliver over the course of time.

    I bought one of these airers when my son was a baby to help deal with the increased amount of laundry which inevitably occurred. It's an easy to erect heated airer/dryer which can be folded flat and stored when not in use. It's particularly effective for baby or childrens' clothes, however I have put a couple of bath towels on it and as long as you remember to move them around a bit periodically, it dries them rather nicely. I'd guesstimate that it can probably handle half a load of washing.

    I'd suggest this as a good alternative in the winter when piling radiators up with damp clothes isn't the best option. Also, it's handy if your clothes need a bit of finishing off after being on the line in the autumn as they don't dry too well outside when it's not particularly sunny. It's a good gadget to have and I'd recommend it to anyone who's as much a slave to the washing machine as I am!
