If you need a simple satnav that just does the job at a bargain price then you have to give this unit a go. OK it's not a brand anyone's heard of but don't let that put you off. The build quality is surprisingly good, it picks up a satellite lock fast, and the screens are intuitive and clear.
Remember this is essentially a windows CE computer so it isn't limited to runninng the inbuilt navigation software, so if you can get hold of a copy of TomTom software on SD card it will happily run that too.
As well as the standard mapping software it has speed camera alerts and 22 POI categories, of course you can also load your own POI databases. Only UK maps of course.
To boot it also includes an MP3 and MP4 player plus an FM transmitter to play MP3s through your car radio.
Comes with cradle and windscreen mount.
A good replacement for my old Navman N20.

At £40 I was not expecting it to be up to any real standard but the build quality is superb, a hardened rubberised outter casing. This is a very "feature rich" sat nav but not without its little problems. I find that FM Transmitter does not work unless I do one of 2 things. Match the frequency and touch the unit so that I act as an antenna or I have to have something plugged into the headphone socket again acting as an external antenna for the unit to transmit through to my car stereo, regardless of which frequency I have it select to (I used an FM transmitter for my phone which worked perfectly) As for the MP3 it is not possible to be able to play music through the MP3 and use the Sat nav at the same time which I thought may have been possible but this is not the case.
I have yet to try the video player so cant make any comments on this function at this stage. As for teh Sat Nav function it is very accurate annd easy to folllow the instructions, the mounting cradle is very good and can be mounted to the windscreen and or dash board but you may need a seperate mounting plate to be able to do this as mine will not still to the dash due to teh dashboard texture not allowing for teh suction cup to stay sucked on lol!!!
All in all this is a very good Sat Nav divice, if only for the failings of some of the additional features. But it and use it as a Sat nav which is its primary function and you cant go wrong (unless you put the wrong postcode in lol)
