At the time of writing I am still looking forward to my trip to NYC, having read through this book already it is packed full of informative information. It even comes with a pull out map at the back. It will probably be a book that I take and leave in my hotel room but with the free map there's no need to worry about missing anything! Written for 2012 travellers, great book!

I found this guide an excellent choice for our brief stay in NYC. The removable map is extremely well-made and useful, and the information in the book is well-organised and complete. Maybe not as imaginative as Lonely Planet in the text, but very practical.

I am very happy with my copy of Fodor's New York City 2012 Guide. It has so much information in it to help one get around NYC, great info for shows, hotels, restaurants, museums, tours, etc. I don't know what I would do without this great guidebook.

Out of date and a complete waste of money. Use online resources for up to date information (Yelp, Lonely Planet, etc.)
