4.0 out of 5 stars Great, 16 May 2003
This review is from: LEGO Island (CD-ROM)
Lego island is a great game for the kids who have always loved lego. The game is set on a huge island and you control one of many characters in their daily life. Just about everything is interactive and the game is interspirsed with games and challenges earning medals and such. I myself have spent the odd hour on the game trying to get into the high score list. A classic by lego.

4.0 out of 5 stars Outdated; simple - but it's not aimed at adults!, 12 July 2009

This review is from: LEGO Island (CD-ROM)
Okay, so I'll admit this game is beyond outdated; it's simple in every sense. But surely that's what young children will get along best with! I loved this as a kid, and remember completing it more than once. Thinking back, I'd probably complete this game in about two hours at my current age - it IS small and simple and there is little to do; by my standards, as an adult, this game does suck. But for a child who's not used to gaming, this can be great fun. There are races to take part in, vehicles to customise, lego-people to talk to... And I recall using pizzas and donuts as ammo at the end, too, which is always entertaining. ;)

Time has probably resulted in this game being far behind dozens of others. But, nonetheless, for its target audience (young children), and for the time it was made, it is worth the 4 stars I've given it. :)

4.0 out of 5 stars classic, 10 Oct 2010
This review is from: LEGO Island (PC CD-ROM) (CD-ROM)
Lego island is a classic, old school, ingenious game which will never get old. OK mabey its not the best gmae for adults to play as it can be repetative but when I played this as a kid then I loved every second of it. Great game.
