This is not the trilogy! Many thinkg Creatures Gold is C1, C2 and C3 together, but in fact it's creatures internet edition. I don't quite understand it, creatures internet edition already has C3 and DS, but hey...
C3 is an enjoyable game, though it's too easy compaired to C2, and it lacks the kits (These were heavily used in C2) not only do you get C3, you also get DS (docking station) this allows you to share your norns with other people over the warp. (Sometimes you can get some ugly creatures, so be carefull)
The idea behind creatures, if you didn't know, is to take care of them. But here it's too easy, the machine teahces them language on it's own, you can just drag them somewhere, they are very independant ... Try creatures 2 before this one!

Creatures gold includes Creatures 3 and Docking Station.
Creatures 3 is the third game in the Creatures series. The game moving away from the planet of albia features a spaceship called the Ark with terrariums in which Albian environments have been recreated, and which the Shee have now abandoned. The ship can be docked with the free Docking Station addon to provide a link to transfer Creatures to other users through the Warp.
I recomend this game, for any artificial life gamers out there.

I've been playing Creatures since the original game came out 10 years ago and I've been addicted since day one. Words cannot describe the fascinating complexity of the series. On the surface its just a lot of cute, fun animals in a beautiful world full of interesting gadgets, beautiful plant and animal life and areas to explore. And if you want thats all it ever has to be.
But for the more ambitious player theres so much more to the game. You can breed your creatures to create new breeds, or genetically engineer them if you prefere. You can download thousands (literally) of 3rd party add-ons, new kinds of creatures, new objects, even whole new environments or create your own. Anything you can imagine can be made for this game.
On top of all that it will introduce you to a wide community of wonderful people, always ready to help if anything goes wrong and willing to discuss the game and pretty much anything else.
