The Scirocco 3000 is Flymo's most powerful garden blower and vacuum, making tidying up your garden an easy job. The 12 metre mains cable means that your Scirocco 3000 is ideally suited for medium sized garden areas, giving you the freedom and flexibility to move around your lawn without having to worry about running out of cable.
Spinning at 14,800 revs per minute, the 3000 watt motor makes sucking up both wet and dry leaves and other garden debris light and easy work. An impressive shredding ratio of 10:1 means you won't be emptying the 45 litre collection bag very often, giving you more time at the job in hand, and when it is time for emptying, the leaf matter will be ready for your compost heap.
Turn your Scirocco 3000 into a blower by the slide of a button and the 200km/hr blowing speed will shift both dry and wet leaves, twigs and other garden debris.
Your Scirocco 3000 comes with a handy shoulder harness for extra support and comfort, ergonomic controls that are easily accessible and a support wheel that will all help reduce fatigue and help you complete all jobs quickly, easily and with minimum effort, leaving you with more time to enjoy your garden.

I bought the Scirocco 3000 to replace a Flymo EV750 Gardenvac which gave 11 faultless years service until the motor went 2 weeks ago. I've just put the new one together and taken it out into the garden to try it out and I'm very impressed with the power, both sucking and blowing is VERY impressive, the blades of grass around the nozzle are bent towards it with the force of the power !!
Two things however prevent it from getting 5 stars and have left me wondering what the designers were thinking of at the production meeting :-
1) There is no point in having a wheel on the end - unless you use it in a similar motion to a lawn mower it's pointless. I personally use a side to side sweeping motion and it would have helped if it had 360 degree movement but it doesn't, it's fixed for forward and backward movement only. However, with the shoulder strap on, you can get the weight balanced so the wheel doesn't really come into play at all.
2) The front section of the tube comes telescoped back into the body...brilliant I thought, it's gonna make storage in the shed a lot easier but no, once you've locked it out to full extension, that's it, it's a one time deal, you're unable to ever retract it - WHY ???!!!
I would recommend this item, notwithstanding the above, the shear power alone is worth it.

My first such machine [I've always used the old fashioned method of garden rake]. Power is sufficient to suck up leaves but not small stones so works well on gravelled areas. The bag is easy to take off for emptying. Self assembly was also easy. Wish I'd bought one years ago.

brought a flymo scirocco 3000 from amazon then read the reviews . i was dreading it turning up and me having to send it back due to it being to noisy , to heavy, wheel not good , removing bag was fiddly and all the other negative comments , it turned up this morning (sat 13 nov) unpacked it put it together without instructions and OMG it certainly beats raking up leaves and shoveling them into bin liners , it makes has much noise has the flymo lawn mower i got it even picked up very wet sticky leaves, acorns, and other gunk. to say i was skipping around the garden with it is an understatement it works inbetween plants has well .for the price i paid for it i couldn't be happier gone are the days of " i can't be bothered" i'm taking revenge on those leaves now no longer will they taunt me by gathering up in piles and in places where it's awkward to move around, i could go on but my advice to you is BUY IT for the money your paying it's well worth it ,yes it does clog up sometimes so do hoovers all it needs is unblocking and considering what your picking up it should be expected , people who've complained are nit picking , yes it does get heavy( not too) wet leaves usually does add weight it's not rocket science , the machine it's self is not that heavy either . finally the price you pay for it is more than worth it

Leaf Blower
