When this arrived and was first used I thought it handled itself quite well. However, the more it has been used the more it seems only capable of light use.
The issue I have with it is the cutting twine. At first, it broke about once every 20-40 minutes, despite cutting long grass in several incremental passes. After a couple of hours of use this has increased to the point where it now breaks after less than 5 minutes use. 9 times out of 10 it breaks within the twine housing, meaning you cannot use the auto-release or manual release button - you must take off the cover, find the end of the twine and manually feed it through the aperture.
I would advise either spending a bit more on a higher quality trimmer or using the money to rent one instead.

Similar experience to the first reviewer, ie the line breaks. In my case, after 15 -20 seconds of usage, even though I have wound the line properly! Is it the line [reel] or the autofeed, I dont know.
It cuts well and seems durable - but after today's experience where it took me 50 mins do what normally takes me 5 mins, I've had enough! This is the third reel, in some 12-15 strims.
I would mention that I've used a strimmer for some 8 years, so not a novice. This is a bad design, I feel. A decent cut after much frustration and so much wasted time is hardly worth it.
Do not buy!

All I have to say its very simple and easy to use, straight out of the box, no problems there and it cuts like a wizard with its powerful 500 motor.
Didnt have a problem with the line breaking in my overgrown garden and so what, one press of the button and its away you go again:)
Sometimes you have to ignore the bad reviews, after all this companies been going around for donkeys.....they must have got something right!!!
The only slight downside it is a little on the heavy side, but I take that down to build quality.
At this price you'd be a fool not to snap it up!!
