Another great feature on your Glide Master 380 is the Easi-Reel. The 15 metre mains cable is stored in the Easi-Reel cable storage system meaning no more tangled mains cable. Simply reel your cable in to the Easi-Reel, for neat and tidy storage.
Achieving your desired grass length is quick and easy, thanks to 4 heights of cut (between 12 - 32mm), you and your Glide Master 380 will have your lawn looking perfect in no time at all.

I purchased a Flymo Glidemaster 380 recently and have found it to be a huge disappointment. It works fine on a very flat lawn but where there are any undulations it fails miserably. The wheels at the front get caught in longer grass and throw the mower off course, the grass box is very small and fills rapidly, it cannot be moved sidways as it's too heavy (or underpowered to lift the heavy topworks of the mower), picking up the cut grass is hit & miss unless the lawn is very flat and you are not thrown off course.
Compared to my older Flymo that has a smaller cutting area but is hugely flexible and floats like a dream the Glidemaster floats like a brick. A downside of the old Flymo is that I have to rake up after mowing but there's no frustration like with the Glidemaster.
I give the Glidemaster 1 star and cannot recommend it unless your lawns are very flat and you don't let your grass get longer than 1 week's growth.

I bought this mower with the idea it would mow and collect the grass. It mows reasonably well but then blows the cuttings all over the lawn and for around 30 feet around, wherever I go - up the walls, windows and all over the cars of both myself and my neighbours. I strongly recommend that if you are looking for a mower which really collects you have to go for a wheeled version. The conflicting attempt of a mower blowing out a 'cushion of air' then expecting it to collect by suction (at the back - outside the skirt I would add) simply does not work. Mowing in a straight line is the guidance in the booklet on the assumption that the line of grass cuttings is aligned with the suction inlet at the rear of the mower. It simply does not work. Good for picking up leaves if you go backwards though, but then you leave the grass cuttings uncollected at the front!
Thin, cheap plastics throughout and an extraordinarily low handle position finish this off. A very poor product indeed and I would strongly urge any one looking for a mower to avoid this one.

I bought this as I thought it would be easy to use around my borders near the house but did not realise that as soon as you go over the edge of the lawn the cushion of air disappears and it lands on its belly. Also if you have any uneven holes in the lawn same thing happens. It only collects grass from the inlet at the back on the righthand side so can only mow going forwards.
On the plus side it is light enough (14kgs) to push over holes. If your lawns are flat and edged with patio or other level surface it will be fine, you can vacuum up or blow the leaves and grass clippings off the patio! Also as the handle folds down it is easy to store, the cable is easy to wind in and it does stuff the grass in the box effectivley. If it does miss some clippings you just reverse over them and it works like a large garden vacuum.
In summary with hindsight I would buy one with wheels, hovering does not give much advantage.

I have returned this product now
Obviously not impressed with it at all. I will steer clear of hover lawn mowers in the future. Back to the roller mowers now.

Nice mower if you have a nice flat lawn. If like me you have a bumpy lawn' it is rubbish as it is to heavy to float and wont go over bumps.
