The Procter Pest-Stop 6 Watt Flying Insect Trap is our entry level model, but is still effective and benefits from relatively low running costs. The device works by attracting flying insects with a 6 watt ultraviolet bulb, then electrocuting them on contact with a 1000 volt grid.
The trap is easy to clean, and is ready for use just by plugging into a normal 3 pin socket.
This insect trap uses a 6W ultraviolet bulb to attract flying insects then kills them on contact with its 1000V grid
After the lousy summer the damp / humid conditions seem to have made it ideal for annoying flies and what not. Not keen on using sprays in the house and didn't want to spend lots so thought i'd try this and see how it did (for a £5 nothing to lose). Can't argue with the results. Lots of dead flying things after only a few days in use and i'm very happy with it. At 6w as well it's not costing a fortune to run even at todays energy prices :).
Only one minor gripe as with most things these days it has a shortish power lead.
The first 1 that i received was faulty and was replaced within 3 days, the 2nd 1 seemed ok but it has not killed a single insect in a month. Better of hitting the insects with a newspaper. If I could give it a zero star rating i would. Very disapointed.
yes, the best u can always get from Amozon, as like promise it works great, and cheap on the budget, .............just where can one - u get replacement bulb from as i don't see any one Amazon website.
