I've got similar boots (O2 brand of boots made in Spain, same factory as Destroy I think). Anyway, they let in water in heavy rain. I guess these companies don't make boots for the British weather. Saw the reviews for Fly boots and that they're like sponges, but have decided that they look soooooo good on I don't care, but appreciate the warnings. As long as I avoid puddles, floods, light drizzles, spit on the street, I should be fine! I'll suffer being a fashion victim as these are really nice - a sort of cross between a biker boot and a cowboy boot. One thing I will say about sizing - I'm a 5 1/2 so got a 6 and they're spot on, but I have boringly average sized feet so if your feet are on the wide side, you may find they are a snug fit. I was even thinking of getting a 7 and using an insole, just to warn you as I know some Fly boots come up big. So they lose a star in advance for those people who will get pinched. They need a bit of a tug in the right place to get them on/off as no side zip, but not a major struggle and I think they will give a little over time (although I have other boots that I almost dislocate a knee when taking off so these seem heavenly to me in comparison). Oh and the 'grey' colour is more a beige/brown, so your eyes aren't deceiving you, the on screen colour is pretty accurate.
