Product Description
Fly London Boots - Mes, mid cut leather boot from Fly London Shoes This cracking boot is made from chunky leather has twin strap detailing on the across the instep and on the leg. It has quite a broad toe shape and is on a stitchdown rubber sole with EVA middle so its not too heavy.

I had my heart set on these boots for years purely by the look of them...once I had saved this year I read the reviews as the boots were in my basket then panicked!!! Most of the reviews said that they were fab but totally NOT waterproof!! I was gutted and ummed and arrred for a few more days then decided sod it! Im getting them and will deal with it later!! They came, they are gorgeous, and as of yet they are dry! I am definitely going to get some heavy duty waterproofing stuff for them before winter sets in but I have worn them in the rain and so far so good!! Im glad i got them! GET THEM GET THEM!!

I agree that these are lovely boots (soft leather, stunning colours, great design), but FLY sizing is notoriously odd at the best of times.
An Amazon 8 as listed here is a 41, which actually fits more like a 40! The leg too is narrow,and the height of these boots 'cuts off' the leg making your leg look odd and wide. Would suit very skinny legs only.
I absolutley love FLY boots, but ordering from Amazon is going to be hit and miss on sizing unless you are TOTALLY sure on what size you need (and are getting - Amazon should list the continental sizing too I feel).
Perhaps try on locally if you can first? Its a lot of money to get the wrong size and be disappointed.

Love the look of these boots and comfortable too - until it rains. Totally impractical for English weather unfortunately. Also beware that the sizing is inconsistent. I tried 2 pairs in the same size: one pair I could barely get on; the other was fine. These boots also mark quite easily so you need to be careful not to scratch them when pulling them on and off.
