Flower Spirit Cards are the first in a series of nature spirit divination cards, designed to enable us to tap into the infinite wisdom of nature spirits, or 'devas', an ancient Sanskrit word meaning 'shining one' used to describe the inner life of a plant. Cards are divided into four sets of eleven: bulbs, annuals, perennials, and wildflowers, representing our past, our present, our future, and our true or 'higher' selves. The cards have been created as a bridge between two worlds, revealing the extraordinary healing messages that can be received from flower spirits. They offer the user an extra tool for enlightenment and a means to expand their consciousness and connections with nature. This exquisitely designed package contains a pack of 44 flower spirit divination cards and an accompanying book with full instructions for the different ways for laying out and interpreting the cards. Once discovered you can also involve the messages of the flower spirits in your life in a more direct way by growing the flowers - thus surrounding yourself with their supportive messages.

About the Author
Melanie Eclare is one of a new generation of garden photographers. She trained as a gardener before retraining as a photographer. Her work has been featured in magazines including House and Garden, Country Living, Gardens Illustrated and Garden Design and she is garden editor of Red magazine. Melanie's first two books were published in 1999: Glorious Gardens of Ireland and Tilda's Seeds, a children's book about growing a sunflower. She has also taken the photographs for New Country Garden, the Decorated Garden and Heligan, A portrait of the Lost Gardens. She works closely with the nature spirits and devas in her own garden and the gardens she photographs. She lives in Cornwall with her husband Tom and daughter Rose.

Melanie's photographs are truly beautiful and genuinely appear to capture the spirit of nature as indicated by an extra sense of radiance and brilliance emanating from each and every photo - indicative of a person working co-creatively with nature spirits. It is a pleasure to have these photos, let alone the messages that are conveyed in the little book which comes with the cards. Using this set helps you gain insight into your daily life, whether it may be aspects of your past that need addressing and letting go of, current behaviours, or most helpfully in my view indications of what you may wish to do now to blossom and grow. The messages are gentle and supportive, inherently positive and uplifting, encouraging and motivating. These photos and messages illustrate a certain depth which is hard to describe yet undoubtedly helpful. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone with an interest in flowers and/or self-development, or maybe a good present for yourself if you use other card divination tools like the Tarot and wish to get to know the world of flowers and nature.

I love these cards. The photos are beautiful. The meanings are very detailed and all about spiritual growth, in different ways. The first two readings I have done have both been very accurate and helpful.
