4.0 out of 5 stars Flower fairy colouring book-a nice idea! 31 Dec 2008
Format:Paperback
With 12 pages of the familiar images made by Cicely Mary Barker, this colouring book provides hour of fun. Altogether 24 different alphabet fairies to colour in. Very good for little ones who are just learning the letters!
Not so sure what age-group to put this in, but it is probably best suited for children aged 5 to 8. Also, I found that crayons work much better on the paper than water colours, but maybe that's a matter of taste rather than fact!
Very nice size it is too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Flower Fairies Alphabet Colouring Book 3 Jan 2012
By S Riaz HALL OF FAME TOP 10 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE

This book contains 24 pages of Flower Fairies to colour in, the pictures taken from "A Flower Fairy Alphabet". The letters shown are capitals, and the pictures are very detailed, so perhaps suitable for slightly older children - 5+ in my opinion, but it depends upon your child. My own daughter enjoyed this very much, along with the Flower Fairy activity books, Flower Fairies: A Glittering World: Sticker Activity Book,Flower Fairies Enchanted Garden (Flower Fairies Sticker Book), Flower Fairies Friends: Flower Fairies Dress Up for the Ball and Flower Fairies: Masks and Wings. Real winners for little girls.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely book 21 Oct 2012

Bought this book for my daughter to colour in and have found I have been having a go myself :) It is detailed enough to keep a middle aged Mum and a 7 year old happy for hours and as there is a design on facing pages we colour one picture each! Very reasonable price for the quality as well so would highly recommend.

3.0 out of 5 stars Flower Fairies A, B, C. Col Bk 14 Jan 2013
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Was not too bad but compared to the first one, this would be alright for young children age about 7+ with help from Mother teacher or grandma. ( someone who knows about the colours of the flowers ) It seems an easy to colour mainly because of the larger coloring areas.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice, but a little disappointing 25 Jun 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I brought the Flower Fairies Alphabet for my niece's birthday.
She is at the age were she is learning to read and write and has just discovered the world of fairies!
I thought this would be a perfect gift for her, as it incorporated all the aspects she like's i.e. colouring, fairies and the alphabet for her to learn as she colours.
In that respects the book met with my requirements, but I had hoped that the alphabet letters would of been made more of a feature, such as the fairy interacting with the letter, rather than just being a small letter in the corner of the page.
Having said that, they have tried to incorporate the letter with the flower species that the fairy represents, which is another nice way for a child to learn about basic wild flowers as well as another way to remember their letters.
On the whole this it is a nice book, which I'm sure will fill many board or rain days.

5.0 out of 5 stars Colouring in book 11 May 2012
By M. Eden
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is as it looks on the cover, although not every letter in the alphabet has it's own fairy. Paper quality is quite thin so pencils or crayons would be fine, but i'd photocopy them if you want to use pens.
