I am experienced in crochet and knitting and I can remember my sister having a set of Flower Looms back in the 70's and what fun they were, so I ordered this set.
It comes with 2 looms, one small and one large with 2 rows of pegs so you can make 3 different sizes of flowers in all. It also comes with an easy to follow instruction book which not only shows you how to use the looms but it also suggests certain projects you can make with them.
I have so far made 3 scarfs and am currently on a cushion cover and I love it. It isnt only for the experienced 'wool user', my 11 year old daughter has also had fun making stuff for herself.

I was disappointed with this kit. It looked like it would be more inspiring than it was. It consists of flowers being made from the flower loom provided and the book shows where they can be stitched to articles. There is no instructions for anything such as how to join up flowers to make a blanket for instance!!! Which is what I was hoping for.

I bought two copies of this for my girls...it was too hard for the 5-7 year olds, but the 9 & 10 year olds got it after a couple of attempts. It hasn't been the huge hit that the potholder looms were, but I think once they start up their knitting projects again this winter, they'll like them to decorate their hats.

My 8 year old finally figured out how to use this, and had some fun with it, but the crafts you can do with it are limited and it's tricky to make.
