This is a really beautiful book. Perfect for horticulturists, artists and photographers. Not only is it visually stunning, it gives information on each flower type too.

This book is truly inspirational - as a student I have used Clive's work a lot in my projects as every image tells a story; they work so well on their own or together and that I think is the work of a true genius! Excellently printed with great, vibrant colours, this book really would fit into any bookshelf.

After browsing through the book over and over and reading the review, I have to say I am surprised as to how people can simply forget the most important thing required to understand and appreciate art: sensibility and sensitivity. There are many stiles and endless interpretations, and Fluorescence has a style that is simple, delicate and even ethereal in nature, the lighting is soft and the depth of field is very shallow most of the times, which creates a soft feeling I can somehow associate with watercolours, both soft watercolours and the more vivid ones with bright contrast. I simply love it and I've spent hours looking at some of the pictures. We all have personal tastes, but please respect an artist's works. If you take the necessary time to study each picture, you will see the tremendous sensitivity and work that went into it. I have so much to learn from this photographer.

I love Clive Nichols work and I haven't been disappointed with this book. The photographs are beautiful. Some of the flowers are photographed against a complimentary background, others against contrasting backgrounds. Clive also gives some tips on how he achieved the images.
