5.0 out of 5 stars Full of patterns. 20 May 2011

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Received this book yesterday. Wanted to start working the embroidery straight away.
The graphs for working the Florentine embroidery are nice and clear and good instructions at the front of the book regarding what materials to use. If you want a book full of patterns this is a good one as there are over 50 patterns. Very pleased with my purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of good patterns 27 Dec 2013
By SOF - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I had about half a dozen books on Bargello and ordered another four when I was going to start teaching a class on this. I brought all of these books to the class for the students to select patterns they wanted to work on, and more student chose patterns from this book than from any other. This was a used book. If you see one, grab it.

no color photos. This is an old book and looks it but it has some great info in it. I am doing a Bargello class with Julia Synder and wanted the book to read up on bargello.
