Review

'Read this book and you'll be grinning the whole way through. Marshall Karp knows how to keep a story running full speed full time. This one's a blast' MICHAEL CONNELLY 'Right up there with the best of Janet Evanovich and Carl Hiassen. Yep, it's that suspenseful, that funny' JAMES PATTERSON

Product Description

Someone is making a real killing on the housing market. Bestselling mystery author, Nora Bannister, has found herself a very lucrative side-line. Along with a group of female friends, she buys a run-down house in Los Angeles, and while her business partners turn it into a show home, Nora makes it the scene of a grisly murder in her latest bestseller. It seems people are only too happy to live in a house where someone has died a violent death - in fiction at least. But, much to the horror of Nora and her pals, a series of real murders start taking place - Detectives Mike Lomax and Terry Biggs have to track down the killer before he murders his next logical target - Marilyn, Terry's wife.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent series., 1 Feb 2012

I loved the first 2 Lomax & Biggs books and, unlike the other reviewers here, I felt that this was an equally good entry. There are some great twists throughout the story and always a lot of fun. I feel the partnership has a lot of potential and would agree, though not essential, it is a series that is enhanced by reading in sequence.

4.0 out of 5 stars Certainly an Enjoyable read, 29 Jan 2012
This review is from: Flipping Out (Paperback)
This is the third book in the Lomax and Biggs Series. A couple of wise-cracking homicide detectives in LA takes you on another journey into the deadly world of real estate, only this time it gets personal.

This is a good book. If you were a fan of the first two, then you will certainly enjoy this. If you havent read any other books in this series, then I would suggest start with The Rabbit Factory. Like another post has said, it is good, but somehow just doesnt match the first book.

Having said that, it is well worth a read, and surely an item to own for any fan...
