Dead Flesh (The Kiera Hudson Series Two (Book One)) [Kindle Edition]

I have been looking forward to the next Kiera Hudson installment since I finished Vampire Hollows and I wasn't dissapointed !! I started by making a promise to myself that I would only read the first five chapters and savour the read, but I knew as soon as I started the first chapter that promise was broken! I call Tim my "I'll just read one more chapter" author because after every chapter I cannot wait to see what unfolds next.
Dead Flesh seamlessly carries on from Vampire Hollows and starts by giving insight into how Kiera, Potter, Kayla and Isidor are coping with their new "dead" status. They all seam a bit lost and looking for direction but the gang can't sit around twiddling their thumbs for long !! The story takes an interesting turn when the gang turn private dectectives and try to help solve a missing, presumed murdered case of a school teacher at a boarding school with a sinister difference, as they leave the confines of Hallowed Manor to investigate they realise the world around them has changed!!
As I have come to expext from Tim O'Rourke you are transported into the story straight away. I always feel like I'm a fly on the wall watching the story unfold instead of sat at home reading it on a kindle!! I loved the banter between the characters, Potter I know you like Isidor really, lol !! Each chapter was filled with action, drama and suspense. I also loved the way the story switches between Kiera and Kayla, giving you two perspectives. Not that im going to give it away but the ending was amazing, in a mouth opening, didn't see that coming kinda way.
My only complaint would be that book two isn't available yet, I want to know what happens next!!

What can I say!?! Another fantastic episode in the Kiera Hudson series from Tim O'Rourke. Real edge of the seat stuff with undoubtedly lots more scope to come! Definately recommend all of Tim's books...they're all finger nail biting material and will definately leave you wanting more!! Keep on writing the fantastic stories Tim! Can't wait for your next book to be released :) '

I couldn't wait to get stuck in series 2 and boy it sure wasn't a let down. You are drawn right back in to Keira and her life and the people she travels with. Can not rate these books or the author highly enough. Amazing writer!!
