The chapters in this volume are well documented in Amazon's product description but I particularly liked the one entitled The gore the merrier which was swiped from the dvd of Evil dead 2 (being the title of a documentary but you knew that!). It seems that our heroes Sam Raimi & Bruce Campbell were fans of the 3 Stooges so that there are horror versions of sequences that occurred in the Stooges movies - you can read up on examples in this book! One of the homages that the boys don't seem to have used was the one when on a few occasions Moe used a saw on Curly's head but the only damage was done to the saw! In case you are still in suspense there is a scene in Evil Dead when a light bulb fills with blood whereas in the Stooges the light bulb filled with water due inept plumbing! Right, I've given enough away so treat yourself to this Volume - there's something for everyone contained within the pages : the photos are in black & white but still very "tasteful"!!!The Art of the Nasty
