I like this book a lot. Although the blurb makes it souns a bit like Time Team or Bonekickers, it's actually a murder mystery set (mostly) in the middle ages, with sections set in the present. Characters are believable (particularly Liam, and the handling of his grief over his mother), and there's an unusually sensitive depiction of religion (both now, and in the middle ages). It's a great book for anyone interested in a good mystery, the middle ages, archaeology, or good writing - recommended!
